It fell off somehow, and i can't for the life of me figure out how to re-attach it. I've googled it with no luck, and i don't know where else to turn. If someone knows how to put it back on, please share some insight.
 
Line it up and twist to wind the film, this should lock it in place.
 
Greg, your method didn't work. I don't have film in it right now. Could that be why? This is my first MF camera and i just got it so i don't know a whole lot about cranks.
 
Lining up is tricky but simple. My 100s camera is a continent away or I'd post some images. It can only attach in 3 possible positions try this site and download a Manual the 100s is there, it should indicate how to re-attach.

Yup, forgot about the constant winding without film and forgot about the little marks.

To re-attach the crank handle (it isn't actually for rewinding anything, but it does cock the shutter) is almost impossible without either having the camera loaded (with film) or you can try this: open the back of the camera and load a dummy roll, fresh or exposed, into the lower film roll socket, then grip the roll tightly as you twist the new/replacement crank clockwise onto the receptacle on the side of the body. It only takes about 45-90˚ to complete the process.
 
Thank you for the manual reference. I offered my note about re-attaching the crank because the manual doesn't point out that the crank cannot be re-attached if there is no film in the camera.

Holy crap, I've been so frustrated trying to get this thing on and didn't know one had to wind the crank to get it to re-attach. You're an absolute life saver. Thank you so much for this. I was losing my mind! :tongue:
