Hi folks,

As the thread title says, the winding lever of my RB67 ProSD back has fallen off. I had noticed a gap was appearing between the winder and the body so it wasn't a shock.

Nothing looks broken and I think (hope!) it's a just a screw that has come loose from the mechanism - screw in question circled in the first pic attached. I'm hoping if I can get at the screw head and tension the spring in the body I can screw it and that metal piece in the pic on to the back easily enough. Firstly though it looks like I need to remove the plate on top of the winder to get at the screw and this might be the tricky part. It looks like the plate is held with two very small rivet-type things which are for some reason painted red (and circled red in the picture). Before I mess with it too much I thought I'd post this to see if anyone has been here before and might save me from breaking something.

Second picture of the winder-less back attached for info.

Many thanks in advance!
Luke

Peel the covering off the top of the lever and you will see the screw. Align the lever, screw it back down, replace covering. A tiny dab of blue loctite on the threads or a bit of super glue around the head will keep it from backing out in the future.

Thank you! I didn't realise the covering peeled off so easily - thought it was a solid piece of plastic.Fixed easily!

Thanks again.
