Yeah I've heard that name around, I think I'll just collect as many as I can just in case. How do you feel a bout the 127? I think the next lens I get will be the 65 or the 127 but I'm attracted to the 127mm because it's the lightest?
Here's a secret tip, my friend. I own two 90mm lenses -- one seems earlier, both are "C" and both are visually identical. However, one, the one with the later serial number, is FAR LIGHTER than the other.
The 127mm i own is light, slightly lighter than the "lighter" 90mm, and it is also smaller (shorter). I bought the 127 but i have not used it yet, because for portraits i have the 180 as well.
What can I say? If you buy the 65, get the 127... If you buy the 50, get the 90?
For the low prices they sell, you should own them all!!
In any case the 127mm lens is like having a 64mm lens on a 35mm camera. If you love 58mm lenses on 35mm cameras perhaps you will like the 127mm. Consider it, in any case, as a portrait lens that gives you extra depth of field (and lightness) over the 180mm.
