RB67 frame lines not functioning

Hello all,

I recently acquired an RB67 and I have noticed that the red frame lines do not appear when the back is rotated into the landscape orientation. I checked under the screen and found that the red plastic parts are there and they are spring loaded, but I'm not sure how to get them to engage when they should. Is there something that I'm missing?

Thanks for the link... Seems I may have a mis-matched rotating back adapter.
