Hi all, hope to get some ideas here as to how i can improve my images. Here are to images of my latest attempt at Rawlins oil. I am having great difficulty in getting them to ink properly but am unable to discern if I need more soaking, these were soaked for an hour, longer exposure etc. My very first attempt was troublesome also but had great density in the shadows with detail these are overall gray. It was exposed longer if I recall. Also after about the second soaking I get little dots or circles of white where it won't accept ink?
i am using Arches Platine paper, 250 bloom gelatine from B&S, and 2% potassium dichromate exposed for 6min. At this point i suspect I need to expose longer..............any suggestions?
