The SB800 does have an automode for fill in flash.

Gents, I appreciate your kind help. 'Whupped, after spending the day shooting that church interior I've posted a few from. Actual shooting time was only 5.5 hrs, much of which was having a fight w/ my meter. 'Finished the last 2.5 rls using the trusty FE2 for metering. I'm sure the meter woes are my own making. A little over 3 rls through the 'blad. A few should turn out. There were 3-4 shots I wish I had remote fill for, but that would have to get worked out before shooting for real.
