Hello;

Here are 2 cameras using the Ica 10x15 double side plate holder, a Favorit and a much rarer (Ica) Reicka on the left.
I don't know if it's possible to use a normal single side holder with them. View attachment 305629

Great collection! And no you cannot use slide-in plateholders, since the camera's don't have any rails at the back that can hold the sides of the slide-in holders.....
Nice to see an ICA Favorit. Mine was almost identical, albeit made by Zeiss Ikon (watch the different sportsfinder) - I've sold mine last year with 3 matching plateholders....

Btw the ICA Minimum Palmos 457 (which is 10 x 15) uses the same holders, but not the 9 x 12 model 456 which uses slide-in holders.
Here with regular (black) holders, and holders from teak for the tropics....

Here is the 9 x 12 model with slide-in holders (they can be distinguished by the blank metal parts):

Nice couple! I only own one Ica in the 10x15 format, and haven't tried with 'normal-falz' cassettes. Incidentally I own a custommade (home-made) 10x15 adapter for my Juwel 13x18, but this is for the ordinary 'normal-falz' plate holders.

Hello,
The camera below looks like a Wuensche "Untversal", but it is a 10 x 15 Ica Favorit, the earliest model.
With plate holders, it has a slide in system, not the usual pop on.
I don't have a olate holder, hard to find in tne dimension but the door of the ground glass can be inserted and it holds. Of course, a plate holder will need some velvet, as written above.
