My stock solutions got pretty cold, and I'm not having much luck eliminating the precipitate that formed in Part A of the Blix. I've heated it as high as I can get it, immersing the jug in near boiling water. So far the only result I've seen is some of the precipitate fell off the sides of the jug but it remains as flakes and chunks that don't show any great desire to dissolve. I'm afraid I'll have to cut the jug open and scrape it then try to pulverize the precipitate, but even that doesn't seem all that promising at this point.
