I came across some NOS (still sealed in the packaging) Nikon focusing screens for a F4 and F3 in some gear I traded for today. The F4 screen is a type K standard screen which is not the standard screen the F4 came with from the factory the F4 came equipped with the Type B as it was sold. The F3 screen is the Type S which is similar to a Type K except it is setup for use with the data back I believe for the F3. Both of these screens are some of the more rare screens and I have not been able to find a value for them in their respective camera accessories. I was planning on getting rid of them but I was trying to get an idea of how to value them if anyone can give me an idea it would be helpful. I have not found any of either type on ebay or the usual places on the web I would normally use as a reference.

All help is appreciated .

I'm not sure, the F3 and F4 aren't really collectible yet; I recently bought an as-new H2 screen for my F3 for about $20. The same screen for the F/F2 would easily fetch over $100 on ebay, used or not.

Maybe start with a high price and an OBO.

There's an H2 for F/F2 on KEH for $19 right now...

Ok well the consensus seems to be not much . I will probably just hang on to them I was hoping maybe they would be worth a tad more since they were not the common screens for their respective cameras and they are new. Oh well One of these days I will get an F3 and a F4 and I will have screens.

Yeah, probably not. Whenever I order from KEH I often grab another screen for my F2 or F3 for fun as many, even some of the less common types, are sometimes as cheap as $8-10...

H2 and G2 are great screens on the f3, I have one in each. For awhile a few years back those h2 screens dried up and were not too common but still their prices were not crazy high such as the ever so rare Olympus 2-14 screen. Good to hear they are abound, fun screens to use.
