Is there any risk in changing the screen in the F3P while film is loaded in the camera? The owner's manual instructs on how to remove the prism and change the screen. No note or mention is made if this is to be avoided when film is loaded in the camera. I would image it is okay to do this with film in the camera, but I just wanted to make sure.

There shouldn't be a problem because you have a mirror and shutter curtain blocking the light path.

No worries. The only risk to your film is accidentally pressing the shutter release while making the change:smile:

Thanks, folks...I will proceed with my usual caution. I hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend.
