Quabbin Sunday??

Hey gang... the seven day weather forecast has it sunny this Sunday. I was thinking of making my way up to the Quabbin to explore a new area for me, along the eastern side just off Rte 32A, near Gate 43.

I know it's kinda last minute, but that's how my free-time becomes available.
I was thinking of arriving there sometime about 1:00 in the afternoon.

I'd love to as well, I'm going to be in CT shooting some foliage. Have you been to Petersham? I was there two years ago shooting and I want to go back and do some LF stuff.

I grew up next door to Petersham in Athol. The spot I want to explore is just a few miles south of Petersam center. The Quabbin is great for LF work. And color should be near peak this weekend.

There is always more opportunities... especially between now and mid-November. As I said up above, my free time seems to pop up unexpectedly. And this is a chance for me to explore a new area of the Quabbin that seems to hold a lot of promise.
I plan on being at Gate 43 from 1:00 - 1:30, so if anyone does decide to go, maybe we'll meet up.
