I just put together a 12 bulb 24" T12 20W BL box for alternative printing. I'm using electronic ballasts.
I just turned it on for the first time and noticed that 3 of the bulbs got fairly bright on one end, scorched the interior just above where the bright spot was, and those 3 bulbs now give a plasma effect for the first 1/3rd of the length of the bulb.
What's up? Miswire? Loose connections? Bad bulbs?
