Hi All -- Newbie alert!
First post to the forum.
Tried for the first time yesterday push developing film.
I had a new roll of HP5+. Started shooting at ISO 1600 - after about 8 shots I decided to shoot at ISO 800 and forget about the first 8 shots.
So shot the rest of the roll metering at 800.
Then developed in Ilford LC29 for 9.5 minutes as recommended on their data sheet for ISO 800 pushing.
The photos that were taken at ISO1600 came out more or less perfectly.
The rest of the roll that was taken at ISO 800 was all over exposed.
I am totally confused as to why this could have happened. I would have thought it would be the other way around.
Assuming I am not making metering errors can anyone think what else could be going on here?
