HI,
I have this problem, one my negative is now spotted by a solution of Pt/Pd, I would like to know if it's possible to clean it and how can I do it? I scanned my negative, but for me it's quite difficult "to clean" by photoshop.

Thanks for your information, and Happy Holidays....

Best

Stefano

Agree with Jorge, the one time it happened to me there was nothing that would remove it.

I know of nothing that will remove the stain. If it is unexposed, a good wash in clearing baths may do it, but most of the time we don't discover the problem until after it's been through the exposure unit. Then, it's time for a digital negative.

You can scrape the spot off!! If you do this carefully it might be possible to save the negative with retouching.
