This is odd, and I'm hoping I'm not reading too much into this but... Summer 2012 I bought a 5-pack of Provia 100F and it has an expiration date on it of 8/2014. In Dec. 2012 I bought another 5-pack of Provia 100F and it has an expiration date on it of 10/2014. Today I received a roll of Velvia 50 (I tacked it on another film order), and it has an expiration date of 7/2014. All were ordered from B&H. I hope we're not gonna see Velvia 50 discontinued anytime soon. First time in a long time I've bought film and it had under a year to go before expiring. The Rollei B&W IR that came in the same order has an expiration date of 1/2016.

Just noticed that there's a guy selling some freezer-stored Fortia SP on fleabay.
Edit, it just went for US$36, that's AU$66 including shipping here, for a single roll.
Suddenly that $40 for Provia 400 doesn't seem so bad...

A few weeks ago, I bought a roll at Glazer's Camera in Seattle, WA, USA. Was about $11.00+tax... Not cheap, but, considering how it has better color than 100F, it was worth it, IMO. Have it loaded in the F5 right now.
