I wish it was neopan, but at that price it would be more expensive. Still a good deal for Rollei, though.
 
Interesting, based on what I read at the above, it said it came from Japan???

Maybe my theory is wrong (that it is Rollei Retro 400S), it could be a Fuji varriant after all??

I tested the film and in my opinion is clearly Rollei 400S and any relation with japanese film (Neopan or other).

But very similar to Rollei 400S...


In my holidays I will "burn" a few rolls of Protopan and i promise leave here my findings about the film.
 
Saying it is similar to a Rollei film sort of begs the question. Rollei does not make any film, they only rebrand other manufacturer's films.
 
Anyone looked beyond the box to edge codes on the negs?

Suspect it's Agfa-Gevaert air recon film stock sold as Rollei?

Thought Fuji only sold C-41 consumer stock for rebranding.
