I just wanted to share a bit of my experience, and give major props to Kristina and the Freestyle team. I've placed two orders in the last month, and both times I've had to change my order. The first time because I got overzealous with the order and spent too much and had to cancel a few items, and the second because I forgot to add something.

In both instances Kristina was quick to follow up via email, and adjusted my orders without question or complications.

In a world of "automated" customer service systems, it's nice to be able to contact someone directly and gain the assistance you need without having to navigate phone trees, or wondering whether or not your request was heard.

I'm quite happy that Freestyle has stuck around... I only wish they'd open up a second location here in Houston so I could visit in person!

I drive to the FreeStyle in Hollywood and Oliver Tam is both very wise and patience.

Even being in Maine I frequently order from Freestyle. In fact I just ordered some Ilford Direct Positive.
I order from Australia  and I would happily die broke if they'd open a store over here (preferably across the road)!
To add my voice to the commendations, I just recently tried to put in an order and had dramas which turned out to be very much at my end of things and no fault of Freestyle's at all and I wanted to add Amy M.'s name to the list of lovely, helpful souls representing Freestyle so well. So thank you to Amy and everyone at Freestyle who are trying to do their jobs from home under very trying circumstances and succeeding wonderfully well. Your time and patience are very much appreciated!

I’ve only used them once, customer service was fine but their shipping price was much higher than B&H, shipping was to Australia so you would think it would be cheaper. It also took quite a bit longer to get here than B&H.

Actually not a bunch of difference in distance from Los Angeles to Australia, vs. New York City to Australia. Just goes around the other way, and it's probably cheaper along the route that has land stops at reasonable distances rather than needing to run 10,000 km over open water. The trans-Pacific jets have much smaller payloads than the ones on the other route.

I've always had a special place in my heart for LA. Love the MCM architecture and the history. Really ready to go back to California and shoot some film.

I used to shop at Freestyle in the 70s for paper, developers, toners, etc. Then I moved and never rebuilt my darkroom. Then I went digital. I started shooting film again a few years ago and it was back to Freestyle. They're not in the same location they used to be in, but the product availability, trustworthy service, and overall quality and convenience is as good as it ever was. Love Freestyle!
