I have an Agfa Isolette II with a Pronto shutter. Speeds are 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 and 1/200.

The 1/200 is running very fine. Even a little faster than that.
1/100 is running around 1/70
1/50 is running around 1/25
1/25 is very slow at around 1/6, but stable.

As a newbie I thought I was clever when I theorized that if it is running at correct speed with no coupling to the gears (1/200), and progessively slower the more the gear train is involved, it must be the gears that need cleaning. And nothing else.

I've now taken out the gear train and soaked it in naphta (=white spirit in Norwegian). I would think it's clean now, but the speeds have not changed.

I obviously have more to learn.. Please help.
