Dang... between equipment and portfolios I am gonna need a moving van!

Ok, maybe we can stay later on saturday (after others have left) to look over our "stuff" and review what/where we can go on Sunday to shoot.

god...I hope we have a half-way decent(sp?) crowd for the workshop.

I plan to come down Friday afternoon. Not sure where I'll be staying, yet! But I'll get that booked this week. I'm always happy to share work, so I'll bring a portfolio, and maybe even a few work prints. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Food, clothing, plenty of fine liquid refreshments, a few of the young-uns to carry the camera equipment, a few dozen head of cattle, a couple of rolls of sod, a few DVD's of Jerry Lewis's old movies (gotta try and figure out what the French see in them!), a couple of Spike Jones CD's, a pair of roller skates, enough M&M's to reproduce the London Bridge and a shiny penny for good luck.
OOPS! That's what we plan to take to watch the annual "Let's Crucify the Local City Council Festival!"
I think I'll bring my Fuji MF rangefinders and a dozen prints to view.

I'm going to bring my F3 to photograph the hords of people (if they materialize) at the workshop, my RZ, and my 4x5. I'm hoping other apug members will bring their equipment..including tripods to set their camera equipment on...for attendees to observe/check out, and get excited about.

also, I was up in Gloucester today...exposing some film, and went into a photo shop. the woman there expressed her love for traditional photographic processes. I invited her down on the 10th...but not sure if she'll make it. She is, though, interested in apug.org...which she wasn't aware of.

Hi there, I'm in Maine and just stumbled back to this thread after a long time away. Can someone tell me about what's going on etc... or do I have to go back and pick out details from the last six pages of posts? Pretty please?

Could everyone coming to the cape please have a brief (1 paragraph or less) bio to have on hand the 10th? Thanks...

I think I'll leave the kitchen sink at home for this one!

Sorry for the late reply here. I've been trying to juggle a couple of responsibilites scheduled for the weekend of March 10 - 11 but with no success... not even remote success.

I'll be involved in a "conference/ collaborative" effort with a couple of participants from Denmark and Sweden, and it required a massive effort on their part to get this coalesced into this weekend - so rescheduling is ... uh ... bordering on the bizzare. Or not bordering - deeply in there.

I've been trying to become more socially active and involved in APUG/ New England, so missing this is an additional "hurt".

I think if I say "Damn" one more time, my wife is going to brain me with one of the 'Blads.

As painful as this is, I'm going to have to say it: Next time - hopefully.

No problemo...! We'll be ok I think...unless we get a repeat of the weather we're getting right now! this is winter on the cape for '06-07...50 mph gusts of wind, with heavy rain, some light rain, then some not so heavy rain, and a bit of a downpour.......and then

I can't make it Saturday, but there is a 60% chance I can on Sunday. I would love to go, as I've been in a slump for inspiration as of late, and that doesn't help as I want/need to start working on my portfolio for Art Schools.

Is there a place where event info, location, driving direction, etc. are consolidated?

I'm preparing my presentation, which will try to cover the current status of silver halide photography and environmental issues. If there are other topics or questions that could be covered in my presentation, I'd gladly consider adding a few more bullets, so please contact me directly.

Also, my presentation will be in PDF form. A projector system, a computer with recent version of Adobe Acrobat Reader would be necessary (I can bring my computer but don't have a projector), but who should I contact for these?

Regrets

Alas, I will not be able to make the trip to the Cape this weekend. Far too many family activities and commitments going on over the next week to allow me to get away. I am still looking forward to getting together with the NEApuggers at some point soon. I'll find time to shoot a roll or two outdoors this weekend so that I can be with you in spirit.

ok, weather for this weekend, saturday will be in the upper 30s and sunny and sunday will be in the upper 40s and partly sunny with a slight chance of a shower. Be aware that it is windy all year long. Also, we received a nice surprise package from a certain photo related company....!

I will be staying at the Chatham Wayside as well, but will not be arriving until Sat morning.

If anyone has one of those lazer pointers...please bring it...and call me with that info please.
