Problem with Epson v750

Hello!
Lately my Epson v750 stops scanning and in Silverfast 8 shows up the message "Error from Epson". It's not a pop up. The scanner stops scanning and thats it. (Image of the message attached).
The light of the power button change from blinking green to steady green.

Any ideas how can I fix it? Thanks!

I only use the Silverfast 8

The end of the scanner bed glass closest to the transparency adapter hinge.
You had to install EpsonScan as it has the drivers for the scanner that Silverfast uses.
READ the owners manual.

Make sure your computer is recognizing the scanner. Try reinstalling the scanner driver also you might have the SilverFast return to the factory default settings. Check your cable and consider shutting down and restarting the computer after changes have been made. If all else fails call tech support.

Try reinstalling the scanner driver

I've just reinstalled the official driver. We'll see if it works. Thanks!

Another thought if that doesn't work: make sure both safety lock switches are unlocked. Seems silly, I know, but sometimes it's the little things that get us.
