I can't get the Bulb setting to work on my M645 body. I'm not sure what I'm missing. The shutter fires in B mode but I'm not sure at what speed. Neither of the shutter buttons make the shutter stay open for the duration of the press, even a self locking cable release in the front shutter button doesn't work the bulb mode. The battery is fresh, although there is no lens on the body. Could this be the problem? Can't find anything about this issue in the manual or internet....any help from users of the camera would be greatly appreciated...
PS if I set the shutter speed to the red dot within a circle (for the AE prism finder) and trip the shutter the shutter does remain open, which can then be lowered by pressing the battery check light on the right top of the body. This is not the Bulb mode but just to point out that the shutter can remain in the open position, but not in bulb mode.
