Problem opening Bronica ETRS Film Back with single catch

I have several Bronica double catch backs but only one with a single catch and am finding it impossible to get the back to open. Its been some years since I did anything with it. Could anyone enlighten me please as to which way it should turn to open? The catch just seems to move around and nothing happens. I appreciate it could be a bit stiff but I don't want to force it in case it breaks.

There's a little "lock" under the single switch. You have to disengage the lock by sliding it and then you can push the large thing.

Yes, it's a pain.

Thanks, yes managed to get it to open a couple of times. No wonder they changed the design to two catches. Thanks for the manual link, I shall bookmark it for future reference.

Based on the original ETR manual, there was one catch and no safety, then the one with safety, then the two. The two design stuck around for a while and the SQ system got it.
