When I pour the large piece I will pour several smaller pieces to use as test strips.
I think I would rather use the same material to test. I would hate to have to this again because of some unforeseen problem with compatibility.

I am quite fascinated with this project (not that I am going to emulate it!) and I hope you are going to document it in some way as I think it would be interesting and potentially useful to others

Have a look at Item number: 220313364222 on US Ebay. Is this what I am looking for?

I will keep a written log and see what I can do for photo's. WARNING: I am no photographer and use an old canon Power Shoot 35.
With the holidays coming up and the need to find photo equipment, I doubt if I will even start the project for a couple of months.
I have everything for the actual concrete pour and polishing.
There is still a lot of testing to do even after I get the equipment.

That's a 6x9 enlarger head, and you would still need a lens of around 90mm to make it work for 6x9.

You might try craigslist for nearby cities to see if you can find a 4x5" or larger enlarger. They can often be had for cheap or even free these days, but shipping can get expensive.

Sorry David. You told me that already. I am going to visit a few Photo shops this Fri. in hopes of finding the equipment I need. Is there anything besides the 4x5 enlarger head/camera forcusing mech., 150mm lens, that I should be checking on. There aren't that many shops in my area. Traverse City is a large turist area but I think most take their film home for developing.

About 250 miles. That is a very good price. If you could give me some contact info maybe we could work something out. I am going to be in Lansing, which is about 60 miles from Southfield, next week for Thanksgiving.

I don't have his contact information, but you could click on his name and send him a private message or an e-mail through his profile. I've purchased something from him, or maybe he purchased something from me, or maybe both, in the past. It may require registering for the large format forum, but that shouldn't be too difficult.

Try searching for another post by Robert A. Zeichner, and you should be able to get to his profile that way.

Thank you for the info. I found his web site and wrote to him inquiring about the enlarger and a lens.
