I'm taking the liberty of starting another thread for those who want to offer print sales for Jorge. Several of us have posted these offerings in the original thread about Jorge's illness: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

But since the fire of print sales offerings caught fast, I'd though it would be convenient to have a separate thread to announce them. So please feel free to post your announcement here, even if you posted in the main thread.

Here's my offering: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

One more note to everyone; I will be out of town on Saturday and Sunday, April 22 and 23, so I may not be able to answer an e-mails until Sunday night. Thanks!

Great image Alex.

My image is titled "Oregon Moonset" it was taken during the Per Volquartz Oregon Workshop last week. Image is on Fuji Velvia 50, printed on Fuji Crystal Archive.

Someone should make a category in the Classifieds for all these beautiful prints. They definitely make me wish I had more money.

I am making any of my PD prints available to help Jorge for the next two weeks.

Here is a link:

Not all are availble in PD, so please email for information on a specific image.

To make it easier, send Jorge the money via pay pal or some other way and send me an electronic copy of the receipt and I will make the print and send it to you. That way the money gets to Jorge faster. I don't want to have to touch the money.

Lee,

That is a great idea. I concur and would want the same procedure for any transactions that I am involved in.

Same here. If you'd like one of my prints, simply PayPal $100 to Jorge (paladio06@prodigy.net.mx) and send me the PayPal receipt together with your mailing address. Otherwise I would have to pay PayPal fees AND Jorge would, too, when I send him the money.

If you go to my Gallery section you will find six prints to choose from. (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

You can pick any one or more of these six and I will print them for you. The cost is $125 each with $100 being sent to benefit Jorge and $25 to pay for packaging and shipping. If you choose to purchase more than one print I will combine them into one shipping package and send the extra to Jorge rather than keep to the $25 each.

As you can see from the gallery space some are silver chloride prints (using the ubiquitous Azo/Amidol printing) and some are platinum/palladium prints. Doesn't matter which you choose, the cost is the same. This is quite a bit below what I normally sell these for but Jorge will benefit.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me. WarEaglemtn@yahoo.com

I would accept that as well. The whole purpose is to help Jorge.

Here is my offering. Hope it does some good.

Hi, I've reduced my prices to $100. Also the buyer can substitute any print from my personal gallery. I think people should feel free to donate their old photo equipment of any value. Might make for more $$$.

Any picture of mine, except the two Polaroid transfers. $100, shipped anywhere in the world. I'll pay the shipping, send the money to Jorge.

I've added a second print to my offering: (there was a url link here which no longer exists)

This image is of the Southern Alps, in New Zealand from Lake Pukaki. This is an 11x14, matted, Fuji Crystal Archive (RA4) print, and is the first image in the series. Print is signed, mounted and overmatted with 4-ply archival museum board. Please note: this is a Chromira print.

What a great bunch of people! You guys are doing a wonderful thing.

Hopefully next month (only seven days away!) I will be able to purchase one of these wonderful prints.

My new darkroom still has a few weeks of work left to do but if any one wants any thing from my porfolio: www.thomassauerwein.com I'll contribute 100% of the proceeds to Jorge and his war. Just give me a month to get the images produced and out.

Hi all,

I have listed two prints for sale to help Jorge's cause. Send money directly to Jorge and receipt to me and I will ship your print within a couple of days.

Thanks,
Bill Bartels C.P.G.

Most excellent idea Lee. Same goes for me. Just send me the PayPal receipt.
