I spent some time mulling over contact sheets last night then decided to have a go at a negative I have wished to print for some time.
Did a print series for density using a section of the negative, liked the section that much that my interpretation of the negative has done a 180º turn and I am making the print just of that section only.
There is a print on the fridge door at the moment and having had lunch and decided that it was a goer, it will be printed later this afternoon.
Marc, The Basel switching station sounds interesting, is that anything to do with the different coloured trams they have in that wonderful city? Breakfast in Switzerland, lunch in France and dinner in Germany, what a place.
Tone and Spot, nah, toning is for birds!
As for spotting, I don't think this negative requires any, I'll see. For those 110 contact prints I have a 00000 brush, trust me, when I say it's fine.
Mick.
