What I was thinking was the author is the one that posts their own image. Others make comment from there (if that makes sense)

yep, unless someone specifically asks for help to scan and post.

I'm in group one. I dropped mine off at what I think is Tim's place, but there was no one home. Please tell me that you got them, Tim.

I've PM'd the person who I haven't received, so, if you didn't get a PM from me, then it means I have your prints.

Hey guys, if the 1 person we're waiting on pulls out of the exchange, what do we do?

Obviously I can't force them to print, so group 1 is going to be 1 print down, and I'm going to have a spare copy of each persons prints. What's the preference, do you want me to send the spare print back to the printer or hang onto it? I don't really mind sending them back though I'm going to have to go back and work out whose print goes in what envelope.. It's just group 1 that the issue is for. Unless someone in group 2 is super keen and wants to submit a different print in group 1 as well

Anyway, I should be able to confirm tomorrow and if that's the case, the prints will go out tomorrow or Wednesday. I've just realised that I haven't organized my print info sheets yet so have to get off my ass...

Name and shame. We had a commitment for June 16th. Give and take a week or maybe two but not three. That is a cop-out.

Tim,

You are doing the right thing by communicating with the tardy party off-line to see what is happening. I agree with Kevin that 3 weeks is really starting to push the friendship, but I'll resist the temptation to give the offender a spray until you update us on developments ...

In the meantime, if the tardy party does withdraw then I think it appropriate to simply return the extra print.

Cheers

Sorry, I was being a bit sarcastic, but that doesn't translate very well in the written word. I know many people are very keen to see the prints, so was just trying to inject a little humour.

I'm up for that, thanks Steve for volunteering. I say go for it, that way both groups get 10 prints. I don't think people will mind waiting another couple of days.

awesome, man I'm excited, you guys are going to love the prints that go out. Just to give you a sneak peak... We have lith prints, vandyke browns, toned prints, fiber, RC, a printing ink process that I forget the name of, formats from 35mm to 8x10, hand printed, machine printed, fast film, slow film, IR film. pretty much every paper type you can think of. Prints from photos taken Europe, SE Asia, America, Australia

Actually a lot more MF and LF than I expected which is great to see (made me think perhaps I should have put in a print from 6x7 rather than 35mm for my submission, but I'm happy with my entry.

Sounds great, I can't wait. Well, since it's all taken a bit longer than we thought, I actually no longer live just around the corner from you! I will have to pop up at some stage in the next couple of weeks, so I'll try to make it well after the prints have all been compiled to I can stop by and grab them, looking forward to this.

Stephen Frizza, thanks for the offer and effort to move past the holdup. Great effort!

I also can't wait to see the prints come back.

Second lot of prints were sent today. They are different to the first groups due to time constraints. The first group of prints are fiber based prints from infra red film, however this group will be experimentally toned resin coated photograms.
