This is the first AV-1 I've ever actually seen. No shutter squeek. The viewfinder is cracked in the corner but a clean, coated replacement is included, along w/ a fresh battery and a new FD to M42 adapter. I just used it as it is, the negs came out fine. No light leaks, good exposures, might want to replace the top mirror foam at some point.
It has a handy exposure button to give an extra 1.5 stops, otherwise it's AE. Nicely designed camera considering it was introduced in the late 70's. Feels lighter than the AE-1 cameras, probably has a lot less electronics.
The camera works w/ Canon FD and FL lenses, the M42 adapter allows you to shoot M42 lenses, and you can shoot Nikon F manual focus lenses w/ another $20 adapter. All of those will give infinity focus and require no glass elements. It's kinda funny seeing an AI prong sticking up on a Canon camera.
US sale please.
$60 for everything, plus $8.50 shipping.
