Okay...first things first. I'm NOT the owner of this and simply the conduit through which it gets listed. This belongs to a friend. Any communication before or after will be directed to him via his email. He's pretty spot on with his gear when he describes it and I fully trust him.
His description:
Nikon F black with Ftn finder and F36 motor drive with cordless battery pack. SN 7078643 which is a later one but is not an Apollo one. Body in good condition for age, minimal brassing.
Motor drive and battery pack have some wear. Contacts in pack are clean and drive fires properly however once in a while the mirror does not come down. Camera did not come with the drive but was drive ready. Likely needs an adjustment.
Meter works which is rare for the old F's. The non-mercury batteries are a slightly different voltage so meter may be off 1/3-1/2 stop which is no big deal unless using slide film.
FYI the cordless battery packs are rare and hard to find which is part of the reason for the price. I'm selling it for about what I have into it. I just have too many bodies and need to sell a couple.
Includes F body, F36 motor drive, cordless pack which has the connection part that is often missing when you get one, DL-1 which lights up the meter needle at night so you can see it, body cap, and a period correct nos strap. Some peeling on the top of the finder but can be glued down. The non-motorized back is also included, as well as the AR-1 release.
Asking $750 plus $20 shipping (CONUS) or will meet in/near Nashville. if desired I can throw in a 50mm 1.4 Ai lens for $50 with it.
Sold as is due to age.
