presentation ideas

I'm looking for a cheap and classy method of presenting prints to customers. I'm not interested in dry mounting or anything that requires my labour time!

I'm thinking along the lines of a tasteful slim presentation box or perhaps some form of removable overmatt & polypocket so that the customer can remove it easily for framing.

I'm not sure what is available to me in the UK, so if anyone can send me to some websites I would be grateful.

Most of my work is done in the square format no larger than 16x16in.

You must have whispered that question...this is the first time I heard it

My concern would be from all the handling they'll get. Any distractions like creased edges, bent corners, or finger prints will take some of the punch out of your images. If you leave them with clients, I bet tea cup stains and the impressions from ball point pens are sure to appear as well.

Having never done what you intend, my opinion has meager weight - I'd opt for a presentation case. If they really want a close look, they can always slip the print out from its page.

This idea is for the final finished print.

Normally I would frame and matt the print, but some people prefer to choose their own frame, so I needed another idea. I didn't want to charge them a fortune and hand them a plain old print..they might feel robbed

I intend to mount the print in an overlay and present this in a print box

I think this should look professional enough.

Ahh...now I get it - not for showing, but for delivering the finished print. That looks slick. Are there easy / cheap ways to get your name on the box?

I am trying to contact promotional companies to see if they can do something similar. Anything labelled as "photographic" tends to double the price!

Does anyone know who manufactures these print boxes?
