I use one of these but would not put more than about four 11x14 prints in it at the same time. I also change the water often.

What's that supposed to mean? Change the water
often? The thing hooks to a steady supply of water.
Likely the only place for it is in a sink. Are you using
yours as a large tray and no more? Dan

It is what I use David, may be not the best but it does work and I leave mine in there throught the priting session. I do rotate the prints from time to time, so the same ones are not on the bottom. At the end of a session, pull them out one at a time and give them a long look in some HCA (or Sodium Sulfite) 5 or 10 min, the back into a fresh tray of water, then into the wash tray again. Last thing I do is set up 3 water trays, and give the prints a soak then finally one last rinse. So far the prints have shown no problems and I do check them ever so often to see if there is much hypo left...nothing showing as of yet.

I use it for the first rinse/holding (fibre prints) after the fix and it works fine. Needs to be in a sink and needs the water to be on continuously otherwise it will drain out. I find that a little under 1 gpm is sufficient flow.

IMO, a Kodak tray siphon is a better investment. It works well and can be used with various sized trays or tubs and costs about the same as this tray (which I have no experience with.)

I've used one for many years when I'm doing a quick, small batch of RC prints. They seem very effective for this sort of duty.

I shuffel the prints and dump the water a few times just to ensure that the prints are seeing fresh clean water with no fixer in it a few times during the rinse.
