Hello everyone!
First of all, this forum was already helpful in the disassembly of a Praktica VLC 2, that got to my hands completely unusable. I'm trying to reuse some of its parts for a project, but for that I need the shutter to cock and actuate.

In the following video Jonathan clearly presents the shutter and mirror mechanisms for a Praktica:
In 0:58 there is the engagement of a hook (I marked that in red) that enables the shutter to be cocked.
There is a very thin wire / spring that keeps that hook tensioned down (towards left) at all times. I marked that in yellow.
I am missing that wire in my camera. I tried to come up with something, but ended up with a wire mechanism that has tension in the other direction, which does not help in keeping the hook tensioned so that there is engagement.

Any ideas on how to get this mechanism in place? I have the impression this is a common mechanism that is used in more than a model.

Thank you all for the attention!!

Gustavo
