What types of metering (central weighted, average, partial) does Praktica camera (M42) use?

I have a MTL 5B , it works well and I am curious with that. I have seen many many manuals and none of them mentioned.

Yes, centre-weighted according to this short write-up at Kosmo-Foto:

(comparing it to the Spotmatic doesn't help in this instance 🤭; but then the real Spotmatics didn't have spot metering by the time they were in the shops either, I understand.)

Assume center weighted, like most cameras of that era.

I took it off last night. There is fan shape transparent plastic seems like a condenser to put all lights into a single Cds . That is quite different from common SLRs with 2 sensos next to the eye piece. The whole circuit & material design are much simpler than Pentax Spotmatic.

Compare to Spotmatic, I am much prefer to this Praktica MTL 5B. Not because this 5B is cheap, but the metering switch is just next to the release button. I cam do metering and pressing at the same time. But Spotmatic, or the M42 camera at the same time is like asking me to switch on after each shot. (except F)

I think I might consider to collect few interesting Praktica as well , like VLC , or cameras with LED display.
