Does anyone know at what level PQ lenses without the mechnical aperture readout work on a Rollei 6006?

Does it work at all? I understand that with a 6006 in Shutter Priority you would never be able to see what aperture is selected, but will it work in Manual mode?

I'm looking at getting the 180/2.8, which can be had for not-insane-money, but only seems to exist in PQ version without aperture window, and i would use it in manual mode at full aperture in any case.

Would it make sense to use a 180PQ on a 6006? I'm at this point not looking at getting a 6008, unless i can find a good deal on a 6008AF (keep dreaming!).
