Well, most of the mailing lists have been sent all but one. I seem to have hit a wall of some sort.
Bert (TheToadMan) your list might be late I can't seem to create a new conversation. Some sort of limit I guess. Update: thanks to Sean's quick changes everyone should have a new conversation with your list.

As before a new thread for comments, updates and feedback. The PMs with the address lists have been sent. Please check that your information is correct. Let me know as soon as possible of any corrections.

Please wait a few days for any corrections then let the mailings begin. There have been address changes so check carefully. Please check that your name is the first on your list.

Yesterday I printed and shipped them all in one afternoon, it was quite intense!

They should arrive within a week or so

I just got back from dropping-off my cards at the post office. They should be on the way to your mail boxes by Monday. I look forward to seeing others work in my mail box soon.

Regards,
Darwin

Today, this round starts for me, with a whopping three cards on the doormat:

brunocstreet, Pavia sculptures. Spot on. Detail in the shadows, detail in the sculptures, and an interesting composition.
drpsilver, oaks in fog. Perfect subject in any case, but the Holga gives it just that bit of extra dreaminess, exactly right for this subject.
Black Dog, a winter window, the subject, the paper, the toning, it all works.

Great start!

I just received a fine card form Bruno Candeias (brunocstreet). Nice play with light and shadows at a real classical sujet. Thank you!

I'm so happy that the postcards are getting there and that you're liking them! I also received three today:

drpsilver (oaks in fog) - Very delicate and mysterious, I like it very much.
Black Dog (A moment of contemplation) - the kid looks so focused, I wonder what he's doing! Also, nice paper.
pic58 (hospital) - it took me a while to figure out which side was up, fortunately your stamp served as a reminder! Very nice touch and picture.

Thank you to everyone so far, can't wait to see the rest

I too have received Bruno's fine card, and like it a lot.

One request Bruno. It really helps if you indicate which round it is for and a title and at least your APUG screen name. I'm afraid your signature is almost as hard to read as mine!

Yes, I noticed that as soon as I got the other cards! Will keep that in mind next time (and probably write less, it was quite tiring!)

Thanks, I received the card some days ago, I love it, and the way the two statues' attitude look like a reflection of the same gesture.

I also received drpsilver's "oaks in fog", and it's a wonderful image, I can almost feel the fog there.

My first two postcards from this round arrived.
Black Dog - "Thunder in the upper course of heaven..." The post card survived the UK/US postal services amazing. Brilliant picture. It is if the rays of God are punching their way through the clouds. I would love to go there sometime.
brunocstreet - "Pavia sculptures". The detail and the tones are done to perfection. Bruno have set a new standard to which I must obtain.

Thanks-you get some fantastic views from the top of Skiddaw (it's in the Lake District near Keswick).

Received in the mail Black Dog's card of what seems like a glorious sunrise taken from high above , the shafts of light look really coolreaking across the moutians and lake.
it is a large card 6x7in. did it cost more to send it off than regular post card size.
Also sent off my cards, at least most of them.

I asked because I know the US Post Office has certain dimensions for the Post card.

They do, but they only really apply that consideration to those who seek to get the benefit of the incredibly inexpensive postcard rate.

Two more cards arrived last week when I was away on Holidays
drpsilver - "Oaks in the fog" Stricking picture. I like square images and this one while not exactly square is pretty close. It is a mysterious almost hauting picture.
mike c - "Circle, Arrow and Rose". My 10 yo son like this image very much as do I. This postcard has been moved to the fridge for all to see.
