I received two nice cards / prints from SJC1952. Two from the mound. One a plea for a permanent ceasefire, now. And the other a shot of Lune, the tapdancing goon. I can see the taps on her shoes. At least she's earning her donations. Nicely exposed and printed. Thanks Stefan.

I received @FilmIsCheap 's very timely image of "Hang in there, Minnesota", reminding times of distress where people need to come together - in 2020 as in 2026. Thank you!

I received Ajven's "Lethal Buds", a shot of (presumably) dead electrical wires rising up out of the ground. Resembles very much a flower or plant. And there's a tree above the wall that adds compositionally. Nice exposure, nice printing. Thanks Ivan!

I also got the card from @Ajven -- and, at first glance, I thought it was some kind of plant. They look a lot like flowers. Very nice use of depth of field, too. Great card - thanks!

And the thing about dead electrical wires is someone can bring them to life by doing the wrong thing - so it's not something I'd be willing to test.

Also, received @Ajven "lethal buds" really a wonderful print. I first thought it was something botanical. Wouldn't want to sniff electric cables! Well done!

Let's see, so far...

@Tim Rohe - "Nothing Lasts Forever" - A lovely building, very well printed. I love it!
@mshchem - "Dendritic Shadows" - Another lovely, but spooky building, nicely printed on Ilford Postcard stock, you gotta be getting close to running out?
@betamatt - "Balance Rock" - Where is that rock? I love hiking to things like this.
@chris ellinger - "Passage" - Ooof, I really like this one!
@GB-A2 - "Grumpy Helicopter" - Very nice print from A Squared. As a fellow Michigander, I've never been to the Pima Air and Space Museum. It's now on my to do list, next time I get through Arizona. Welcome to the PCX!
@mfohl - "Catching Big Air" - Very nice detailed print of a shodow scene. Nicely done!
@AnselMortensen - "Pepper" - Great still life, perfectly lit. The shadow at the base really makes the pic. Well done.

That's it so far, can't wait to get the rest!
Balance Rock is in a State Park in Lanesborough, MA.

@Ajven "Lethal Buds" , the nectar those buds produce would surely shock ones system. Very nice and well thought out photo.
Thanks for the great photo.

In the past few days I received two postcards from far, far away: @bedrof "One" from an even more distant Ushuaia cargo terminal, and @Taurabon 's "Hex wrenches", which seems to have been "accidental"... sure, sure, but incredible result nevertheless.

I received a stirring photo from @pamphoto One World Trade. My wife grew up very near NYC, she was in the city a few months after the 9/11 attacks, she recalls that there was still strange dust everywhere. Quite a emotional place.
Thanks Pam!
Best Regards Mike

seems most were good little boys and girls and did what they were supposed to do!

me? I got behind and didn't get caught up till last week... I have chided myself😦.

I always send myself a card, mailed from my house.. it is postmarked the 16th and I rec'd it on the 18th. so I surmise it took the long road to come home again - postmarked at a distribution center rather than the local post office.

I received two nice cards. "One World Trade" from pamphoto. Yes, I'm sure it's emotional. I would not go there, it would make me too angry. Nice print. No postal scuffs, but it did get folded over. And "Electric Egret" from jvo. Nice white on black, the nice egret and its ripply reflection. Thanks Pam, thanks James.

I sent my cards 4 weeks ago šŸ˜’

April Fools!
a tough band season (kids) and lack of forethought = delay.

Please excuse me!

Hi @jvo. I did receive your "Electric Egret" print today. The egret does look eerie in the early dusk light. It's striking and I can see why you stopped on the highway to make the image. Thanks for sending it.

Got your card, @jvo - thanks! I first saw it upside down, which made for an odd interpretation. It looked like the ghost of a bird - then I saw that the "reflections" was much less ripply and realized that I needed to turn it over. It's a great shot - you must be pleased! Bird like that around here hightail it out as soon as the notice you - and they notice you before you notice them.

@pamphoto many thanks for your card, which captures the sites one of the major, dramatic events of modern history. I've never visited this place, but I can well understand how the experience would leave a lasting impression.

@jvo, the egret has landed! The title is appropriately chosen; the bird almost pops out of the paper, ready to take to flight again! It's a fascinating image.
