Welcome to September, that means two things. I'm another year older and it's time for a new round.

Digital shooters are welcome, I believe we only had a couple last round and all seemed to go well.

The FAQ and introduction documents have not been updated but for this round any manner of capture is permitted.
Alternate methods and processes will be appreciated. Let's see what you are up to.

Please sign up now and remember you can select the number of cards you want to send/receive.
Sign up runs the month of September, then you have two months to send and receive your cards.

OK, now the standard text, but please read on:

There are links to the FAQs and an Introduction in my signature at the bottom.

As in the previous rounds, please signup by starting a conversation with me (used to be called PM) containing your full name, address (including the country - this is an international exchange) and the number of cards you are able to send or say maximum for the maximum possible number of cards. You can also choose "ALL" you will still only receive the MAX number of cards but you will receive the complete list so you can share your work with everyone if you choose.

As in the previous rounds, if you have been in the exchange for the last couple rounds and if your address is the same, you can sign on just with giving the number of cards here in the thread. No PM needed in this case.

Important! As in the previous rounds I will post lists of participants in this thread every once in a while. If you signed in (or if you think so) please come back to this thread and check if your name is on the list. If the name should be on the list but is not, then let me know. Once the address lists are sent out early in February I can not do any changes. And also check for the number of cards behind your name.

There are a couple threads with an introduction and FAQs (check the links in my sig). Just send me a PM or ask here if you have any questions.

Please read on:

As in the previous rounds, not all participants have been able to send out the cards. For whatever reasons, if you have not fulfilled your last rounds commitment, send your cards before you sign in for this round. Just be fair. (and drop a note in the last round comments to let us know you are okay)

Now for those new to the postcard exchange, here is how it all works out.

First: It is fun!

Second: When registration is over, I will prepare address lists which I will send to the participants. You will have to send a card to every address on that list and you should receive back a card from everyone on that list. So if you join in for e.g. 20 cards you will have to send 20 cards and you should receive 20 cards back.

Third: Did I mention that it is fun? Where else can you receive cards from all over the world, different styles, different methods, different papers, and more.

So, life got in the way and I haven't been able to send out round 56 yet; I should have more time in a couple of weeks..
But I would love to take part in 57, if that's okay with my lateness in the current round.
Sign me up for "All", please.

Do the Ilford 4x6 RC Portfolio papers always have the postcard template printed on the back side? I saw a Q&A comment that made me thing they do, but its not mentioned anywhere in the product description.

The postcard template used to be printed on the back side, but Ilford is no longer making that paper. They do make two versions of 4x6 paper: the portfolio paper is the thicker of the two.

Yeah - don't bother trying to get actual Ilford postcards. The only source I see now is ebay at three times what they should cost. Just get paper. I'm using up my Ilford postcards but I put stickers over pretty much all of the back, anyway.

life getting in the way is more preferable than the alternative - in my opinion... 🤣

participation is always, always, better!

Hi everyone and happy birthday to September kids

Last round i intruded the envelopes of @MToma with my prints, so this is my first postcard exchange.
I want to be in the send to "All" category.

I've tried to use the chat, but apparently i'm too new to this place.
What can we do @George Nova Scotia?
(in the mean time i'll check for places on the forum where i can contribute some opinions/messages, to reach the minimum)

Thanks and i can't wait to print, send and receive
Claudiu.

I'll "Report" your situation to Sean, the site's owner. He can help.

Claudiu.

I've received your address, all is fine.

Sorry folks, I've been a little busy lately so I may not see your post for a few days but I will get to it. Thanks everyone for helping out.

Well, I'm back in Japan after 7 weeks of travel and probably the longest hiatus I've ever had from APUG/Photrio - I've got 17153 posts to get through! But this was my first stop and you can definitely sign me up for ALL this round. Hopefully I will have made a dent in the 50+ rolls waiting for me to develop so I can send an image from my recent travels.

Glad you weathered the storm, George. Lots of damage out there. And hurricane season isn't over.
