rst, besides the list of members we are sent are there any others to send our post cards too, management of web site or something? Just trying to figure how many to print to cover all and some spares in case of lost in mail.
Hi Mike,

If you want to send some extra cards ... Sean comes to mind. There are people who are sending cards to Simon from Ilford and to Kodak. I will have to find out the addresses and will send these along with the address lists.

Cheers

Hey Ruediger, great idea ... it would be nice to have a couple of "bonus" addresses included when you send us the distribution list, if you are able to do this ... and thanks again for going to all this trouble to make the exchange so enjoyable ...

I took the liberty of putting Sean's, Ilford's and Kodak's addresses in the 'Introduction and Schedules' sticky (there was a url link here which no longer exists) as the question seems to come up every round.

I have 18 of mine printed! 2 in the 1st 20 I did had some issues that I hadn't noticed before, so they won't go out. I'm working on taking another picture or two to do the rest. Printing is so much fun! I can't wait to see everyones artwork! Lori

Now, how do we send these? Just lick a stamp, put it on the back of the print and send it on its way or what?

That's how postcards work  (although using a damp cloth will save your tongue turning into sandpaper)

Don't forget your own name so we know who it's from, and it's also useful to state 'R17' or similar as it helps filing . Other than that it's up to you what else you include, variety is the spice of a postcard exchange.

Since I finally printed up round 16, I'd like to be in round 17 for 25.

Rüdiger,

Please change the number of postcards for me from 40 to 30... can't afford that much in postage!

Rüdiger,

My decision about whether to participate is postage-based. Could you either (a) post the percentage of participants in the last round that were in the US or (my preference) (b) post the country next to the name in your next update, so everyone can guesstimate postage?

Thanks,

-KwM-

I do not want to post any part of the participant address in the public, not even the country. But since we have participants in more than one country I think it is OK to post the following info:

For round 17 we have the following so far:

18 participants from U.S.A.
11 participants from Canada
5 participants from Australia
5 participants from UK
4 participants from Germany
2 participants from The Netherlands
2 participants from Norway
1 participant from Ireland

I have consistently spent approx. $45 Canadian for each of the last 4 rounds. I have kept the number of postcards at 30.

Yeah, by the list I'm guessing about $33 USD for 32 cards.
