Finally printed mine a couple of days ago. I will label and post them this week. Sorry about the delay! I have been getting a lot of great postcards.
(I have been away from logging into apug for a while and have over 14000 posts to read up on!)

postcards

just to let everyone know I have received tons and tons of great cards. thanks to each and every one of you. who has the cards in stock?? my box is almost empty and need to re-order right away....
Best, Peter

Another pile of cards arrived t'other day;

NYC by Doug Smith-lovely turn of the century feeling reminiscent of work by Coburn etc. Very dreamlike.

Andorra by Pep Miro-very similar mood and feeling, and complememts the previous pic well, especially with the rich warm printing.

Woodmont Orchards by Johnathon King-the old barn leans drunkenly as it slowly retorns to the earth. Reminds me of Robert Adams' work (I'm a big fan of his BTW).

Mannheim memorial by Ingobohn-profoundly moving and disquieting.

Jessie by Mick Fagan-has she been taking posing lessons from Kevin and Perry LOL? And as Morrissey put it "I wear black on the outside, because black is how I feel on the inside/and if I seem a little strange, it's because I am".

Thanks again to you all-another great round so far!

I posted my cards this afternoon! Sorry for the delay. Three different shots this time - I look forward to hearing that you've received them. I still owe you an update on what I've received thus far.

Brian

Peter;
Calumet has it, and I think I saw someone mention they had ordered some from B&H.

Most of my cards are out, a couple have bounced for being too small, and I've got a few more to finish up.

Hello all! Here's what I've received thus far (in no particular order):

Jonathan King's Woodmont Orchards - nicely captures how the barns are setttling into the landscape
Hal's Ice cream cone - Yummy!
Brian Chambers' Seattle at night - great shot - provides me with inspiration to give night photography a try
Brian Jeffery's Walk this Way - Anything shot w/ a C330 is aces in my book - I'm still trying to train myself to compose in a rectangle when I know I'm going to print that way.
Geoff Hill's fisherman - I love surfcasting! Nice composition.
Pepmiro's Valley - another outstanding card - thank you for the effort and consistent quality of your cards - also for the subjects - Andorra's travel & tourism bureau should reward you!
Peter Schrager's Flashdance - A real slice of Americana! Nice to know the local Miller distributor wants the club to succeed
Ruediger's Mannheim wall - Very powerful and very well done
Tim Gray's Casino - I knew where this was before I flipped the card over - nice image. I hear Asbury Park is on the upswing these days
Erik Gould's Big Bottles - I see so many stories in this card
Valerie's Cecilia - Very nice depth & tone
Mike G's lith print - something different, indeed! the tone brings out the age and worn character of the wood beautifully
Doug Smith's Apartment building - I like the combination of light, shadow and shape
Mike Wilde's Old Mill - I love images like this - for me, it's easy to imagine the mill in its heyday
Alex's Airshow - nice to have the foreground - much more interesting to me than had it been just the jets

Thanks - and to think there should be another 15 coming - what a treat!

Brian

I got a lot of very good postcard lately. Thanks everyone for the card. I am thinking about put them on a display board, like other people did with the cards.

There should be some more cards coming my way, can't wait to get them.

BTW, dose any one know "Lindow"'s address, I have one extra card try to send to him.

Thanks everyone.

Alex W.

Mine are just going out today to US recipients, others will go out on Monday (requires a trip to the post office). I am really enjoying the cards, I hate that it's taken me so long to get mine out!

Three more cards came my way.
Wonderfully sharp night image of Seattle sky line from Brian Chambers
geoffhill's of a lone fisherman on a vast Northumberland coast. Beautiful tonal values in HP5+ well composed.
Frosty grass on a lake in Norway from Birger A. Feels cold and isolated.

Thanks everyone
Greg

I mailed mine out this morning. I got a bit of sticker shock when I found out the the Int'l postcards cost $.90 each to send.

Holy cow. My whole stack cost about $25.00 US to send this time.

Mine went out Saturday....it is the third of the county fair series. It is fairly different than the last ones and I hope y'all enjoy it.

Try $52 for this batch. International $1.55 Can. It is well worth it I think. One less time going to McDonald's  , and lot more healthy.

Ingo,

I was thinking the same thing - I've never had any trouble receiving your cards before. Hopefully it is just delayed in transit somewhere and not lost for good.

Brian

Hi Pete,

Your beautiful impressionist shot of Princess Street did indeed arrive- and in great shape. Thanks to you and to all participants. I've thoroughly enjoyed the exchange and look forward to the next one.

Doug
