Well I did not get any cards today but had a chance to send mine. So all 41 Cards are in the mail.Simon your paper worked very well with Ansco 130 developer and Selenium toner. Enjoy the print I send.

Cheers Greg

Received card of boat repair facility. Very nice, Thanks Mark_S.

Posted all cards Monday evening. Hope they arrive quickly.

Jon

I've received my first card of this round from Mark_S: very nice. I like the subtle tonal range.

I forgot to tell you yesterday when I took my cards to the post office she asked me if I wanted cards to be stamped by hand, no machine roller damage or paper strips glued over the front of the image :D . Maybe you can ask your post office where ever you are, to hand stamp your cards.

Thanks Greg

Keen beans

Apologies in advance , I won't be sending mine out for another week or so, I've got a postcard easel on it's way to me. Once it arrives they'll be in the post.

Are most others using bordeless easels?

Regards, Matt.

My main easel for RC paper, is a rectangular piece of chipboard which measures just over 300x400mm or 12x16".

Attached to two sides, are some flat strips of timber sticking up about 6mm. I just push the paper into the corner and fire away.

I have outlined all the paper sizes I use with a ball point pen, not for positioning the paper, just to give me an idea for rough framing after first inserting a negative.

Been using it for 20 odd years and have always meant to make a better one using MDF with a smooth finish, one day I will.

I also have a Jobo 8x10" Varioformat which is excellent, but for whacking RC prints through, nothing beats this except a roll easel.

Mick.

We do have the month of April to post our postcards, right? So Mattg, you are not late.

Received two brilliant cards today, Billilla House from Mick Fagan and Ingo's card (or is it Ruediger's)????

Thanks,
Jon

That's correct, no need to rush at this point. I won't be printing until next weekend myself so please don't kill yourself trying to cram in a couple of printing sessions when there are still weeks left to print.

Whew! Printed 50 cards last night. I'll try to get them in the mail this week. Received a couple of lovely cards last week and am really looking forward to the rest.

I would totally be down with trying to get someone make some 4x6 speed easels for us. Anybody know of someone who could do the work?

I'm on my way to the darkroom to print my postcards. Should be a fun day!
Just trying to decide what to print will be the most time consuming. Maybe three different ones again!

A second card arrived today" Double Feature". Thanks rst A very unique image, very original. I am glad to meet you both Ingo and Rudiger I like the diagonal presentation.Well done. Must have been a lot of fun . HP 5 is a great film.

Thanks Rudigerfor nice comments on my PCE#9

Keep them coming

Cheers Greg

I recieved cards from both Ingo and Rudiger today but I won't let on who's I like better.

I really enjoy them both.

A lovely card from Mike Wilde arrived as well.

Thank you all!

Received Ruediger's (rst) card yesterday and I laughed so loud my neighbours think I'm weird! Absolutely fantastic! Great idea and looks awesome! Thanks for the kind comments about my previous postcard. Also got Mick Fagan's gorgeous shot of the Billilla House. What council are you on Mick? That sounds interesting.

As far as who is Ingo and who is Ruediger? My guess is that Ingo is the person on the right in the lighter striped shirt and lighter hair while Ruediger is the person with the dark striped shirt and dark framed glasses. Am I right?

Today received Ingo's card and another full scale laugh out loud scenario for my housing complex. How could you do these photos without alot of laughter and hilarity which I am going to assume happened especially when any of your neighbours caught a glimpse. Good show guys, most enjoyable!!!

Kingjon's nice shot of a moose who happened to be strolling down his street made it's way to me today as well as Mark_S's 4X5 shot of a boat repair facility that is no longer there. Well done and thanks!
Mark_S's image reminds me of the importance of shooting anything you see now in case tomorrow it's gone. I guess just carry your camera with you all the time or just more often.

I've received the cards from Ingo and Ruediger. What a great and original idea! and they look terrific. Congratullations for your great work!

Cards are trickling in. Mark_S send a card of derelict boat repair facility. As BW Kate said I am always on a look out for areas where developing might be happening. For two years I have been driving along a road and always said I will take picture of that old barn. Well one weekend I decided to go and take some pictures. Two days later coming home from work the farmer had bulldozed the buildings that were about 120 years old.Call it lucky.
Mark the image is sharp and represents a building that has been used for many years. What a wonderful memory shot for generations to come.Well done.

Cheers Greg

Two cards arrived yesterday: Moose Calf from Kingjon and 209 104 from Michael Newman. Thanks to you both!

I've gotten six cards so far, and I won't have time to print my own until Sunday! Great cards from everyone so far though, very nice work. Also, did everyone see the (there was a url link here which no longer exists)? He was very appreciative of the cards he found when he got back from vacation.

The other half of the Ruediger/Ingo duet arrived today - thanks Ruediger! It looks as if you both had a great time and the results are superb. :D

Finally got cards in the mail to names on my list and two extras, one for Simon and one for Sean. If anybody is looking for Sean's address, I used the one found through the Subscribe/Donate tab.

Almost made the mistake of trying to buy stamps yesterday, "tax day" here in the US. Gee, why is the parking lot full... Oh, yeah! (Mine done weeks ago).

Posted all my remaining cards yesterday-looking forward to recieving some soon:smile::smile:

Mick You did it again with Billilla House. What a wonderful shot. I said couple a months ago I am going to use filters and I did not ( I bought in the mean time some large ones 104mm :surprised: ) Next time I will use them.
I think the orange filter did the trick.

Thanks again

Greg
