Oh Howard, lucky you, that you have the decision to print on a rainy day. Here where I live we have not had rain for weeks (or should I say months). And if I look into our backyard I would prefer to print on a rainy day soon.I have finally made a choice for my own card and I will start printing on the next rainy day,
...If you prefer it toned then my postcards are interactive! Fill a tray with tea or coffee and simply soak (keeping it imersed!) until the desired tone appears. 15-45 minutes. You will all be getting one this round...
Hey all!
I just got another nice pile of postcards in the mail today - thanks to everyone who has sent theirs so far! There have been a lot of great cards again this round. I also wanted to say that I got a note from someone about Jake's (Black Dog) mailing address being incorrect. His country of residence should read Scotland, so if you have an address that is another country, please let me know.
Thanks!
- Randy
Yes, all we had was the address in France and the rest of the address does also look more like an address in France and not in Scotland. Jake?I've got Jake's (Black Dog's) mailing address as being Normandy, France not Scotland. His address is the same as Round#9 which is still Normandy, France. I've got no one on my list from Scotland. I might not have a full list, either. Have you figured this one out yet?
Kate
Ha, this was probably my fault. I got the updated list from Randy and only had a look at the end to find out what was new. Sorry, next time we will handle this a bit different. E.g. send out an spreadsheet with all addresses and for each participant a list with names where cards have to be sent to. Having the addresses in a spreadsheet might be easier for those people who print labels.Jake sent me his updated address, and I show it in my final list, but for whatever reason, it was not included in what got sent out. I won't post it openly in the forum, but anyone who has yet to mail their cards to Jake (Black Dog) can PM or email me and I will give you his current address.

Yes, that is a good idea. We should add the addresses formated as we get them. I needed to feed them into my program and so it was easier to parse a single line per participant (Sometimes I'm lazy)If I might add another suggestion. Could you possible show the addresses actually formatted as opposed to all the information on a single line. I knew what to do with the U.S. addresses but I was mainly just guessing about how to break the international addresses into multiple lines.
Sorry Kate, I wanted to come back to this but then ... Well, I am the one who does not like Ingos music exercises ...Ruediger,
Did you read my question and guess on who was Ingo and who was Ruediger in your fantastic postcards? It was posted awhile back.
Kate
Yes, we both live not too far away from Heidelberg and for American measures I would say we are nearly neighborsOh yeah! Of course in your avatar! The dark glasses! Now I see and understand. Thanks for clearing up that mystery that was keeping me up at night. I guess you guys don't live that far away from each other. I have been to Germany once with a friend of mine. We drove from Amsterdam to Germany. We went to Trier, Cologne, Aachen, Bad Berleberg, and Heidelberg. We even drove to France and found the Canadian RCAF base that I was born on. It was just outside Bistroff and not far from Metz.
