Example of something I almost like except for those pesky branches in the foreground left.

Wait, that’s not a cypress…. FWIW, saw this on FB earlier…definitely a nice DOF that evokes up the natural softness of the horizon this time of year. It might also be a good occasion to pick up the big hammer in terms of toners—I could definitely see taking a VDB or albumen toward the blue/violet end of the spectrum.

Really enchanting tonality there. I've never given much thought to trying ortho film, much less with a green filter. I love the way the water looks and the glow of the leaves in the background.

Thanks. I've been into ortho film lately. I read about vegetation being a good subject for ortho film, and the green filter lightens leaves. It can give an almost infrared look.

I've been trying to shoot a lot of it recently since the plants are already starting to dry out.

From a recent camping trip.

I can't resist...
You know your camping trip has gone wrong when you open the tent fly and you see this surrounding the tent....
Great photo though.

Here is one infrared, 25a red filter, Mamiya Universal Press camera. HC-110. Never printed just negative scan.
