Typo. Poor prooreading.

Shit, even worse proofreading. Please forgive me. I'm very tired after all the shoveling and then walking a mile through the snow to get that shot.

Sometimes the typos help make this moderator's day - no apology necessary!

Kallitype of an urban park. I very carefully chose the camera position to arrange the tree trunks.

I like this kind of image that can be read both as an abstract composition and a realistic portrayal.

Thank you for the kind words, Tom. I appreciate the feedback. I do this for myself, but never really know how I am doing without feedback.

Council Tree Cottonwood on the Poudre River. Historically, the native Americans would gather near this location, although the original Council Tree has long fallen.

Shooting 6x9 Tri-X on my newly CLA's Bessa II. My Sony A7 can do this justice, but I have to work a bit to get tonality this good from the digital files.

The little screen does not do justice to the image. Printing it is wonderful.

I've been printing some older negatives, getting good practice with learning f-stop printing, but am low on paper and want to save what I have for some newer negatives I hope to get soon, but do want to print it. This negative is from 2008, an in-close photo of ice detail on white pine needles, 4x5 Horseman LE with 210mm lens, no filter, on TMX at EI64 in HC-110 (H).

I love this photograph!

Unfortunately my knees are no longer up to skiing that deep powder. On the other hand when I dream of deep powder skiing, I always make all the turns and never fall.
