"So far you win this thread. ;-)" What a strange way to appreciate photography. It's not a soccer match. Cheers SnC
Hence the “;-)”.
I just like his photos the best.
They have impact while not being on the nose or sensationalist.
At the same time not falling into the overwhelming common “just understand my complex art the right way” of the hopeful.

Edit: Of course this is not a putdown of the other photos in this thread. Many wonderful ones here.
NB23 just obviously has a knack. He won a competition for heavens sake!

I don’t count all the competitions I won, anymore... it’s all worthless bs.
Comments as yours are much more appreciated. Thanks!

I really appreciate all the work I see here...if you see and capture a magical moment, it's always a win regardless of what others think or don't think.

You should put a book together.

Wow, that came out nice.
You caught he in an attractive gate..... or is it probably gait.?
Not just the typical stride with the feet apart, but her hands in pockets, head down..... Soldiering On, so to speak.
What kind of processing did you employ there.?
It is a great look.

Thanks.

It’s been a few years now... I can’t remember if it was pushed HP5 or TMZ.
Rodinal 1:25
Leica M4
I can’t remember if it was Noctilux or 50mm summilux asph LHSA version.

Edit: ok it came back. Leica MP + 50 lux asph lhsa black paint, tmz@3200, rodinal 1:25.

So far you win this thread. ;-) I'm not sure your images would be better for it, if you scanned them properly...
So red filter SFX or Foma? What's your hardware?

in this case it’s straight Tri-x in rodinal, and it coincides with my 35mm summilux pre-asph period...

I don’t usesfx/fomapan 400 with a 092 filter much, except when I’m on a project, that’s when I’ll shoot an entire project with a given film.

Nice ones Colin. I always have to smile when seeing cos playing tough guys on motorbikes.

Appreciate that. I recall these guys weren't really the phoney tough guy types...actually a Christian biker group. Interesting concept.

Absolutely love everything you're posting...just quality frame after frame.
