Wow..... Very Nice.!
I would print that as big as you can.
I am just a hack street photographer, and still just a beginner, but.......IMHO that is a classic example of "Good Composition"
Those people in the distance, they were on the move.?
So you had to wait for them to come into or get to the extreme of your frame i assume.?
Anyway.....FWIW, it looks fantastic to me

Thanks mr moore.
Was just after a storm, father and son going fishing, woman waiting for her man with a dog and leash trying to avoid crazy man with huge camera. Im a beginner and hack to, sometimes, rarely you get everything to fall into place.
Colin's the experienced one, but its fine for hacks to post up some pics.

Here’s one of mine.

I’m a beginner and I’m just a button pusher. Any visual symphony I might create is pure luck.

Priceless, look at the expression on that guy's face.!
.....all that's missing is a giant Foot/Leg of Godzilla.... maybe coming in from the top, right of the frame.?
The Girl/Kitty stacked on the point of that white building just adds to the drama.

Is this an example of street photography? Or is this a landscape? This is a cemetery in Richis (near Biertan), Romania. The family tending a grave may be Roma people. Leica M2, 50mm Summicron, Fuji Acros film (EI=80).

I don't know if this is street photography, but it is definitely a photograph of a street.

Ten minutes of a Santiago (Chile) evening, January 2019.
Ilford FP4+, 5x7, 180mm, 10 minute exposure at f32
Platinum/palladium print

WilmarcoImaging pls. have a look at Sirius Glass title! "street photography".......:D!
If there is an other thread "car - photography " you would be right:D!

Seriouusly : I wonder about - let me ASK : "The term " street photography " is to you in the US more in general? (don't let it annoy you b.t.w. - you picture is indeed street photography to me)!
But it is more a general category? To shot "on the street = streetphotography" ?

with regards

PS : Notice some pics without people in the street? But because I am wrong? Street photography
is any kind of portait of "unknown" people on the street - to me?

PPS : ...hmm Trendland is just coming with silly coments because he has no good shots:sick:!

ähmm right said:cool:! I have only one single shot wich is OK and it is street of course!
Hmm - but where is it I remember a CD with scans - no idea where it is....!

Aha I am not the only one who asked! Well thats No street - photography from the kind of definition I have in mind Vaughn....!! But it is just interisting that you ask!
If there are some definitions like I have an "illusion" of - your photo is an exeption :
Because you indeed shot people on a street - but they are "unvisible" - seriously : be sure Vaughn
if you would come up for an exibition / challenge from title "street photography" a jury would for sure not sort it out!

with regards

PS : Nice shot btw.!
