This is a rather captivating photo. Not sure why, exactly.

It is an interesting perspective.
Was this just random, happenstance, coincidence.?

There is a (ostensibly) pretty girl, with nice legs and beautiful hair.
She is crossing against the red light......... and you can barely make out another person anywhere.

Not sure how interesting this is to other viewers.
Something about it winds my clock

I think the dog would take it off the line

Dog would almost certainly win in 40 yards, might do so in 100 -- but further than that, cubic inches wins out...

Back when I was in unbelievable shape, I could routinely beat non-performance cars across an intersection on my 10-speed...

I am sure every member could submit a dozen examples.
I am just saying this is one of them.
B&W Vs Color.

This picture is a great example of how B&W can really isolate the topic of a photo.
The dog, the tree shadow, the 2 people.
Not saying it is "better" than color.
Just pointing out the difference

Not sure how much color there was in this photo, but enough to be "distracting" i am sure.

JMHO

Everybody's going out and having fun
I'm just a fool for staying home and having none

They are different mediums that require some thought. I like pictures that tell a story and mono tones lends to that.
