Thank you for the compliments.

I was in an exhibition in Paris: atelier des lumières where they beam paints in a huge room.
She was sat there watching around and I took my photo with a relative long exposure, I think: 1/4 of second at f2.

There is no particular technique used. As I said I utilise Ilford Art 300, it's a matte paper and this helps the effect.
I bleached the photos in a bath of ferrycyanide for few minutes and a selenium toning 1+19.

I understood that my more impressive photos come when I have few light, and I m continuing doing that for my style.
Awesome! Thank you for sharing. Never been to an atelier des lumières, so I'll keep it in mind!

Thank you for sharing this. It’s a cross over between photography and art, very nice work. 👍

I really like several things here. Expressions on all the people, there is a ton going on, even without the yoda to drive home the point the dog is adorable... but I'm a fan of steelyard composition an this has it in spades. Yoda and the dog, the lady in front and the lady in back.

Thank you so much. ‘Steelyard composition’ is a new term to me, but I understand exactly what you mean!

LOL I get that. It was new to me a few years ago and I read book on composition. Started opening to a page and then trying to find that type of scene.

My friends at work were with me. A couple were photographers, one's an artist. For some reason, Steelyard was our group favorite. Three years later I still look for them.

i have been trying a Gift Cassette of ROLLEI RETRO 400S 36eps in cut short lengths and different developers. Fir this 'STREET PHOTO' I tried a mix of the famous Pyrocat HD at 11 mins ( Guessed! ) and it came out well but just a little lacking in Shadow Details so next try will be 250 ASA CAMERA was Chinon CG-5 + a RMC Tokina 28-70mm f4 @ f5.6 The SHARPNESS is disappointing on this - usually that lens is sharp.

Yes, that is my finger in the frame. First weekend I had my 15mm on the IIIf and... well, I took a lot of shots of my fingers with that lens. And with the 35mm. That camera is tiny!

This picture is a symbol of our outgoing winter. Throughout the winter, everyone in Ukraine fueled electric generators. This is a memory photo. I didn't dare to come closer. A person with a camera can be greeted aggressively. Especially with a film camera, it’s not clear why, especially near an energy facility

As a biologist myself, that wine club really appeals…. What does the rest of it say?

"You can buy a bottle of any wine from us at the manufacturer's price, take it with you in a branded package"))) In the background about 200 meters is the Biological Institute. My daughter graduated from it and continues her studies in the Czech Republic, soon the defense of her dissertation

Thanks. So glad she has been able to continue her studies. Wish her well from a stranger.

Not sure whether this qualifies as 'street'? Prague's King Charles Bridge must be one of the most photographed places on earth. You kind of feel compelled to take a picture. So I barely glanced at this frame when I developed the film back in about 1985. But looking through old negative sheets yesterday, and comparing other people's images of the bridge on Google, I decided I really like mine after all, and that in any case time had given it extra value. I had gone to Prague back then in hope of seeing Josef Sudek's photos, which I knew to be in a museum collection. As it turned out, they weren't available to view - this was Soviet era and almost everything 'different' one could think to do was either forbidden or blocked by unhelpfulness. The best I could do was to get up very early, as I knew Sudek had done, to catch the light around town. Prague today is far more prosperous and open, but totally over-run with tourists, at all hours. So although the light and the skyline are unchanged, this photo may not be possible now.
