Xpan, plus-X, ilford art 300.

Heavy burning. Didn’t feel to do it perfectly. The haloing around the car gives more impact, chuck it on the artistic expression.

Yes, great colors and crop. I personally am very rigid on the format and my viewfinder, I never crop and so on. Much easier this way.

"cheating" because of the crop. But It can save many images, like this one.

To be honest I never felt really imprisoned by the original image proportions.

Cropping is not cheating. Sometimes it is needed. It is better to compose using the whole frame if possible than have to crop later.

I just used "cheating" word in the
figurative meaning.
When I look trough the viewfinder I always frame what I want to be in the frame and elements placed where I think they should be, but some times is not posible as you mentioned.
I never felt like Im corrupting an image with cropping because Im just trying to get close to to the desired final image or to what I perceived when pointing the camera.
