Thank you. That particular one was for a newspaper where I was on training. Thats one of the busiest spots in Lisbon downtown due to Fernando Pessoa statue in the coffee terrace. So it was more a technical option, as it kept attention in the subject and shows somehow that energy around it.

The Oxford street/circus ones were more conceptual option as thats one of the few places I dont like much in London. That was the way I find to portrait what I normally feel there.

I guess you're right, but kodachrome has all this mysticism around it...and for some reason almost every single picture I've seem looks precise rendering colors.

I'm basically new to film and even more to color film. Have been shooting b/w all the time. I was given 2 ektar expired, possibly not the best starting in color film but will try it anyway.

The 'dirty movie' theater on Prospect Ave, Cleveland, OH. Miranda Sensomat (???), 135mm Soligor (???), Tri-X (???).
It was the 60's and so every male under the age of 40 had to have their draft card on them at all times. I suppose the idea of an underage female wanting to enter never occurred.

Yes, I guess “precise color” was Kodachrome 64. Every time I compared kodachrome to the ektachrome offerings, kodachrome always came out being the one with the most precise colors and without extra flavours. No real punch, no extra contrast, no extra saturation. The main argument for Kodachrome, back then, was simply that it was the most archival/stable film with a “guarantee” that the film would look the same after 100 years of storage while ektachrome or negative film were not guaranteed to be archival. This is what make kodachrome special and nothing else, really.

Ektar tends to be neutral and precise, I think it’s the best candidate to replace kodachrome. But I have not used the new ektachrome...

I’m revisiting a ton of prints. Signing, managing them, packing, moving, logistics.

Depressing exercise, really. The only thing I’m learning from this is that 20 years ago I was a better shooter and printer than today. LoL!
