Another great shot of Mono Lake. Really like the minimalism here.

Thanks Jim. Really appreciate it. Finding the right balance has been a challenge with this image. My first inclination was to make it high key, but this new approach, darker with greater separation in the fog, gives it more depth and a better mood.

I love it too. Lindisfarne is one of my favourite places. (We used to do field trips there as students, and get locked in the pub during high tide, sometimes with the policeman!) Your photo captures really well the challenge of making the crossing on foot as the pilgrims did/do.

Nice work, Jonathan. Whose garden is this?

Thanks. It’s Overbeck’s Garden, near Salcombe, Devon. Belongs to the National Trust now, but developed as a sub-tropical fantasy by a succession of wealthy owners, ending with the philanthropic Overbeck. Not my usual sort of thing, but we had visitors…

A couple from last week. Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, Acadia NP. Flogged with people but managed a few without folks. Some ektachrome shots from the rz67ii were also taken but must be sent off for development (I don't have any e6 chems at home currently).

Van dyke print of a beach scene at Hunting Island State Park in South Carolina many years ago. Original on 4x5 film converted to a digital negative for alt process.
