Going back through some older photos while searching for a particular image. Gives me an excuse to share images I haven't before from around a decade ago.
Cloudland Canyon SP, Georgia. Kentmere 400, Leica M5 and either the vc 35/2.5 or canon serenar 50/1.8

Excellent. A great moment. And it looks like you are working that lens to its max!

Thank You. Yes, Jay Dusard used the Rodenstock Grandagon 90 which showed some vignetting.... I went for the SA XL 90.

Tominon 105mm set in Kodak 2A folder. Kodak film. Sun beams were done in PS to enhance existing beams in the image.

@Dave. Thanks for the compliment. Hours went into perfecting it before even getting to the sunbeams, then the fun started, getting the beams right. I tried about four variations before finally settling on what you see there in the image. The original beams were faint and mainly glowing down the center just left of the tree as you look at the pic.

@Sirious. Thanks. What caught my eye was the numerous different cloud types. It was amazing how they all gathered in the one location at viewfinder width posing for me to take the shot. The dark semicircular cloud at top center was exactly how it was, except I ended up cropping it at the top after critiquing the finished image over days viewing it a picture frame. The original image wasn't much at all in the beginning, it did need a lot of levels adjustment etc, and a little cloning, but I got there. Them came the sunbeams and I taught myself how to use Photoshop on that one.

Oooohhh, sunbeams! Those are always fun. Great capture there and nicely presented, @film4Me

Here are a couple sunbeams from about 7 years ago. Far west Texas, looking towards the Chisos Mtn's from Terlingua wondering if the rain showers were going to let up. No such luck that morning.
